Participative organic olive farming
Partizipativer und ökologischer Olivenanbau
We aim at sharing our experience of organic farming a 3.25 ha olive field (450 trees). It will be explained how the process is organized throughout the year, by looking at how each activity is managed, what the implications of shifting from conventional to organic and of learning how to, both in terms of working time and in terms of harvest. We will also look at how the participation is managed –mainly for the harvest- in terms of coordinating groups of people coming from the city, food and accommodation.
