I am a political scientist with a master degree on Development Studies for which I wrote my dissertation on “SSE as a transition path towards a degrowth society”. Based in Geneva, I am now working at NORRAG, a network on international education policies, and interning at UNRISD on the SSE project.

Scientific paper contribution 1: Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) as a transitional path towards a degrowth society
Abstract: In the current context of multidimensional crises, this paper aims to evaluate the potential of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) as a transitional path towards a degrowth society. This research is motivated by the urgent need to find alternative ways to build a fairer and more responsible society in harmony with Nature. While recognizing the limitations of the Geneva case developed in this paper, this work examines the common dimensions between degrowth and SSE. It will be shown that the plausibility of this transition, though real, is subject to some critical issues.

Scientific paper contribution 2: Reconsidering the transition role of education
Abstract: In the context of today’s multidimensional crisis there is an urgent need to rethink some of the main social institutions, in order to improve them and better adapt them to the current challenges. One of them is education which has been for ages one of the most precious and powerful instrument to enlighten the individuals but also to shape their behaviour, values, skills and knowledge. From the degrowth perspective however, there is an apparent lack of analysis of the issue. This short paper intends to explore the potential transitional role of education by analysing some key elements and offering some clues to stimulate reflection and debate.
